Rehearsal Site

The rehearsal site is normally at the Fugett Middle School Auditorium (occasionally, the band room) in the West Chester School District. It is part of the East High School - Fugett Middle School Campus located near the intersection of Paoli Pike and Ellis Lane, a couple miles east of the Borough of West Chester. There are now two entrances to the campus,one on Ellis Lane, the other on Paoli Pike.

From Rt 202

From Rt. 202, take Paoli Pike exit east (away from the borough). The Paoli Pike entrance is at a traffic light a mile or so to the east. There a church and a service station on the left, you will turn right towards the schools. When you reach the stop sign, turn left to Fugett School. Park on the side of the building that has several glass doors. If you miss the entrance, the next traffic light is Ellis Lane.

From the Paoli area

Take Paoli Pike west towards the Borough of West Chester. Ellis Lane is the second traffic light after the Boot Rd. intersection, which has a Sunoco gas station on the corner (Ellis is about one or two miles after), turn left.

Coming west on Rt. 3 (West Chester Pike).

Turn right (north) on Ellis Lane, a traffic light with Wiggins Furniture store on corner. (This is roughly a mile after you cross over the Chester Creek at the bottom of a prominent little valley.) Pass one traffic light and two stop signs to the top of a long hill, turn left into the campus.

From Ellis Lane Entrance to Rehearsals

As you enter the campus, turn right in front of the buildings and follow the driveway around the building to the left. Park on the side of the building.

Building Entrance for Rehearsals

Go through the doorway on the extreme right side of the entrance and turn right to the stairway leading to the second floor. When you come out of the stairway on the second floor, the stage entrance to the auditorium will be directly ahead of you. The band room is located just off the corridor to your right. You will see or hear which location we are rehearsing in that night.
